化学史,既是一部描述化学进程的方法史,又是一部记载化学家智慧的科学史。实践证明,在中学化学中,讲一点化学史,不论从教育或修养两方面来讲,都有它的重要意义。化学史是进行辩证唯物主义教育和爱国主义教育的好教材。中学化学教学在大纲中明确指出,教学过程中要对学生进行辩证唯物主义教育和爱国主义教育。化学史正是一部记载了化学家实践的历史。从化学发展来看,每一成就的取得,都是许多化学家为之奋斗的结果。
The history of chemistry is both a methodological history that describes the chemical process and a history of science that records the chemist’s wisdom. Practice has proved that in middle school chemistry, to say a little history of chemistry, both in terms of education or cultivation, has its vital significance. Chemistry History is a good material for dialectical materialist education and patriotic education. Chemistry teaching in middle school clearly pointed out in the outline that students should be educated in dialectical materialism and patriotism in the teaching process.
