目前,小型型钢轧机广泛采用的加勒特式卷取机在卷取速度、卷重和卷取温度等方面均受一定限制。如卷取速度超过20m/s时,卷的填充系数将受影响,造成卷松散、高度增加、稳定性降低等;卷取φ12mm圆钢,卷重1t时,高度为1m,1.5t时,高度为1.7m,从运输角度讲这已是极限;根据加勒特理论,最低卷取温度为750℃。 目前,制造业对卷重又有新的要求,希望能达到5t。这样,既有利于用户节省调节机器的时间和提高产品性能的一致性,又有利于轧钢厂降低成本,提高成材率。
