Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) is a common chronic joint disease in children, in the process of its occurrence and immune genetic factors involved and influence. In studies of JIA and different genes, the genetic association with human leukocyte antigen (HLA) has been demonstrated. In this paper, we discuss the gene principle existing in the JIA complex trait and comprehensively list the candidate genes of HLA closely related to JIA and review the correlation of some traits. The study found that HLA-I, Ⅱ molecules and their products play an important role in the pathogenesis of JIA, clinical process, hormone therapy and prognosis. Studies of different races have shown that the correlation between HLA and JIA genes is mainly in the A, DR and DQ sites, especially the type II genes and some haplotypes. JIA subtypes, HLA-associated susceptibility sites will often be different. The same different ethnic, regional and social environment also affect the JIA susceptibility gene polymorphisms, the article at the end of the current study on the relationship between HLA susceptibility and JIA polymorphism in the process of making problems to be summarized.
