According to CV Therapeutics, a trial of Ranolazine in the treatment of chronic angina pectoris (ERICA) published in the recently published American Journal of Cardiology Journal (JACC) showed that compared with placebo-controlled subjects, Angina patients treated with ranolazine sustained-release tablets can significantly reduce the frequency of angina attacks (P = 0.028) and nitroglycerin doses (P = 0.014).
