丰子恺是我国现代卓越的艺术教育家,也是知名的画家、音乐家、散文作家和翻译家。丰先生多才多艺,但毕生重视艺术教育,他的艺术教育思想既是他自己长期的艺术教育活动和艺术创作实践的结晶,又是一个真正艺术家的典范人格的真实显现。当前,我国普通中小学教育正面临着如何从应试教育向素质教育转轨的问题。此时,重新审视丰子恺先生的艺术教育思想,对于我们更好地理解把握素质教育的内涵,及其提高整个民族素质、促进精神文明的建设将大有神益。
Feng Zikai is a modern, outstanding art educator in China, and also a well-known painter, musician, essayist and translator. Mr. Feng is versatile, but his lifelong emphasis on art education, his idea of art education is not only the crystallization of his own long-term art education activities and artistic practice, but also a true manifestation of the exemplary personality of a true artist. At present, China’s ordinary primary and secondary education is facing the problem of how to shift from exam-oriented education to quality-oriented education. At this point, reexamining Mr. Feng Zikai’s art education thought will be of great help to us to better understand and grasp the connotation of quality education, and to improve the overall national quality and promote the building of spiritual civilization.
