In one opinion, it is a marine upper Jurassic, comparable to the Oxfordian and Kimmeridgian in Europe, Africa and India. Later, King Star group bivalve fauna was re-studied. Based on this foundation, combined with the lithostratigraphic contrast data, we discuss the age and sedimentary facies of the Jingxing Formation.
