我们走进远古,去窥视原始艺术的遗存,会生发出怎样的冥想呢?在这些祖先智慧结晶的面前,在充满着原生意味的图式中我们被感动的又将是什么呢?在不断探究的同时好像也在不断地拉近这时空的间距,其结果是不时地闪现出启悟的愉悦,这就是原始人类留给我们的让现代艺术家们感到惊愕的极富神秘色彩的艺术作品。呈现的是原始宗教活动和生活场景,这也是让我们感知原始人类创作意图的最好媒介,我们现在看来它所展现的各种形式的图示美感,显然具有一定的艺术创作的不自觉性,它暗含的是现代艺术创作中几乎已经缺失的朴素与单纯。我们无法考证当时具体的创作过程,但这些作品留给我们更多的是神秘而难解的悬念以及对其精神探询的渴望。
