Tianshan orogenic belt lies in the hinterland of the Eurasian continent, was nearly east-west strip distribution, in our country about 1700km long. Its geotectonic location is at the confluence of Kazakhstan Plate, Siberia Plate and Tarim Plate. There are many Meso-Cenozoic mountain basins in and around the orogen, and the important uranium-bearing basin Ili and Turpan-Hami basin are located in it.
