哥哥进入中保人寿做推销员之前,是个炒得一手好菜的厨师。一天,哥哥去一家酒店推销保险。他进去时,老板正在发脾气。原来这家酒店的主厨家里出事故,留下小徒弟炒菜。小徒弟技艺不到家,顾客不满意,老板急得团团转。哥哥从服务员那里搞清原因后,便对老板说:他以前是和顺酒家的主厨。如果老板愿意,他试一试。老板听了就如一个溺水的人抓住了一根救命稻草,也没细问哥哥是做什么的,就把哥哥推进了厨房。
