我国耐火材料工业正处在结构调整优化时期的转型、升级阶段。当前的一个重要战略措施是技术发展方式必须转到以自主创新为主,还必须加强产学研结合,加快科研成果的转化和产业化。技术发展的主攻方向是根据我国耐火原料资源特点,研究开发有中国特色的新型优质耐火材料,应当沿着这个方向,组织产学研结合的重点攻关:(1)立足我国高铝矾土和菱镁矿资源优势,研发优质合成原料——均质料、改性料和转型料,如利用中低品位高铝矾土为主原料,开发矾土基均质料、电熔锆刚玉莫来石、电熔尖晶石和SiAlON。(2)根据高温新技术发展的需要,研发优质高效新产品——氧化物-非氧化物复合材料、含游离CaO的碱性材料、梯度不定形材料和微孔轻质材料,如洁净钢连铸用氧化物-非氧化物复合功能材料。
