本文从林语堂的译作中在归化和异化的使用上,考察译者如何依据原文本、源语言所处的文化、源语作者、译文读者和译入语的文化等各要素来综合考量具体的翻译策略,二者并用。并指出林语堂在灵活的运用英汉两种语言的同时,依据不同的情况下所采用的翻译策略的多样性和差异性。 This paper analyzes the use of naturalization and alienation in Lin Yutang’s translation by examining how the translator comprehensively considers the specific factors such as the original text, the culture in which the original language is located, the author of the original language, the target audience and the culture of the target language Translation strategy, the two used together. It also points out that Lin Yutang can flexibly use both English and Chinese and at the same time, according to the diversity and difference of translation strategies adopted under different circumstances.
