全球化是中国现代化发生、发展的国际背景。它对中国现代化的发展模式、战略选择都产生了深远的影响。这种影响不仅有阶段性，也有整体普遍性；既有有利的，也有不利的。由于全球化是人类社会发展的必然趋势，所以中国现代化要取得成功，就必须自主地融入全球化进程。
Globalization is the international background for the occurrence and development of China’s modernization. It has had a profound impact on the development model and strategic choice of China’s modernization. This impact is not only phased, but also universal as a whole; both positive and negative. Since globalization is an inevitable trend in the development of human society, if China needs to succeed in its modernization, it must integrate itself into the process of globalization.
