在20世纪的中国艺术中,曾有两次以西方视域描绘乡风民俗,并使之成为艺术再现或表现的热点,第一次是在以鲁迅为代表的20年代乡土作家群的乡土文学中,第二次是在1980-1990年代的乡土电影中。在前后相距半个世纪的两个历史时段,“西方视域”的内涵发生了变化,乡风民俗的“身份”也发生了变化,考察乡风民俗的“身份”变化,可以窥见当代社会文化心理,同时,也为如何正确对待乡风民俗提供了有益的历史启示。
