For more than 10 years, he devoted all his energies to private higher education in Shanghai. From participating in the policy research of private universities in Shanghai, setting up private colleges and universities to becoming party secretary and executive vice president of Shanghai Xinqiao Vocational and Technical College, he felt deeply about the growth and development of privately-run colleges and universities in Shanghai.
