Juglans Linn plants mainly contain flavonoids,naphthoquinones,organic acids and other chemical compositions. Pharmacological study showed that Juglans L. plants had anti-tumor,anti-bacterium and antioxidant activities. Advances in the phytochemistry and pharmacology researches of Juglans L. were reviewed;further researches on Juglans L. plants were conducted,aiming at finding anti-cancer and anti-HIV active materials with high efficiency and low toxicity.
