It is well-known that lead compounds have toxic effects on the kidneys, hematopoietic and CNS as well as on embryos. Due to the increased pollution of heavy metals in modern environments, this effect is of increasing importance to humans and the flora and fauna they come into contact with. This article reports on the studies of long-term feeding of lead acetate on survival, weight, and sperm cells in mice. Experimental Balb / C ~ + March males, free to eat and water, the feed containing lead acetate levels of 0.1 to 4.0%.
