本文认为,普遍性是一类事物的本质一般,它包含有特殊性于自身之内.普遍性在思维中的反映有抽象普遍性和具体普遍性两种形态.抽象普遍性是以不完全的形态反映事物内在联系的普遍性,它是思维抽象所标示的内容;具体普遍性是以完全的形态反映事物内在联系的普遍性,是多种抽象普遍性规定的综合,它是思维具体所标示的内容.本文澄清了对抽象普遍性和具体普遍性的涵义以及二者关系的一些不正确的理解,阐述了人的思维只有从抽象普遍性达于具体普遍性,才能使思维具有完备的客观性和彻底的辩证性.
