Rousseau is an outstanding thinker in the 18th century French Enlightenment. This article explores the freedom, equality and human reason advocated by enlightenment thinkers in 18th century through the analysis of the concept of freedom and education in his masterpieces “Social Contract Theory” and “Emile-Education” And humanity’s free and all-round development of humanism.
