新一轮课改已将英语学科定性为工具性和人文性并重的课程。随着教学内容的不断深入,农村薄弱学校学生学习能力欠缺,学生对本来极富有吸引力的趣味语言的学习视为畏途,有的甚至放弃。作为农村中学英语教师,更要认真学习新理念,充分考虑周围环境,因地制宜,趋利避害,创设英语学习的良好氛围,灵活多变的教学,让农村的孩子在现有的条件下,享受英语学习的乐趣,轻松愉快的学习并爱上英语。
A new round of curriculum reform has characterized English as a tool both instrumental and humane. With the continuous deepening of teaching content, students in weak rural schools lack the ability to learn. Students are afraid to learn the otherwise very interesting language, and some even give up. As an English teacher in rural middle schools, we must earnestly study new concepts, give full consideration to the surrounding environment, adjust measures to local conditions, seek benefits and avoid disadvantages, create a good atmosphere for English learning and flexible teaching so that children in rural areas can enjoy the present conditions English learning fun, relaxed and happy to learn and love English.
