目的研究鼻咽癌(nasopharyngeal carcinoma,NPC)患者Epstein-Barr病毒(EBV)感染及潜伏膜蛋白1(la-tent membrane protein-1,LMP-1)表达的情况。方法采用免疫组化实验技术对62例鼻咽癌活检组织及33例慢性鼻咽炎组织中LMP-1的表达进行检测,同时采用免疫酶标法对这些患者外周血EBV的IgA/VCA抗体进行检测。结果外周血EBV-IgA/VCA检出总阳性率在NPC患者中为90.32%(56/62),在慢性鼻咽炎患者中为3.03%(1/33),两者之间差异具有显著性意义(P<0.05);LMP-1在NPC组织中表达的总阳性率为59.68%(37/62),在慢性鼻咽炎组织中表达的阳性率为6.06%(2/33),两者之间差异具有显著性意义(P<0.05);EBV-IgA/VCA与LMP-1共表达的患者占NPC患者总数的62.5%(35/56)。结论NPC患者外周血EBV-IgA/VCA表达与肿瘤组织中LMP-1阳性表达具有明显相关性;鼻咽癌发病与EBV感染明确相关。
Objective To study the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection and the expression of LMP-1 in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of LMP-1 in 62 cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma biopsy and 33 cases of chronic nasopharyngitis. Immuno-enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect IgA / VCA antibodies in peripheral blood of these patients . Results The positive rate of EBV-IgA / VCA in peripheral blood was 90.32% (56/62) in NPC patients and 3.03% (1/33) in patients with chronic nasopharyngitis, the difference was significant (P <0.05). The positive rate of LMP-1 expression in NPC tissues was 59.68% (37/62), and the positive rate of LMP-1 expression in NPC tissues was 6.06% (2/33) (P <0.05). The co-expression of EBV-IgA / VCA and LMP-1 accounted for 62.5% (35/56) of the total number of NPC patients. Conclusions The expression of EBV-IgA / VCA in peripheral blood of patients with NPC is significantly correlated with the positive expression of LMP-1 in NPC. The incidence of NPC is positively correlated with EBV infection.
