In terms of cultural attributes, watercolor and literati seem to be two unrelated subjects and concepts. One is the painting from the west in the 15th century, and the other is the implication of the Chinese literati painting that was popular in Song and Yuan Dynasties. However, from the perspective of art media, the two are able to meet each other - the technique of water makes the eastern ink and the western watercolor have common attributes, and the calligraphic features of ink pen are also easier to extend The rules of watercolor. However, the above text, as an artistic concept, is easy to set up in terms of art and texture, but hardly achievable in artistic practice. Because it is not only the tempering of techniques, what is important is the establishment of cultural concepts or aesthetic tastes, which has a great bearing on the value orientation of painters.
