A Mn - Si - Mo - W quaternary substituted oxy cluster was synthesized and its structure was determined by single crystal X - ray diffraction. The crystal belongs to tetragonal system with space group P4 / mnc, a = 14119 and c = 12 4 96 (4), V = 2 4 90 9 (12) 3, Mr = 2 86 2 70, z = 2, Dc = 3.817 g · cm -3, μ = 15 92 2 mm -1, R = 4 6 2, wR = 0 12 32. In the manganese, silicon, molybdenum and tungsten anions, the central SiO4 tetrahedron is disordered at two positions on the C4 axis
