司马金龙墓葬中的墓志和漆画中含有一系列的书法资料,其书法主要以魏楷为主。该墓是建于北魏平城时期,漆画大篇幅的文字更具观赏和研究价值。墓志表铭文。书法风格呈现了一种区别于平城早期就书风的新书风,姑且已受到南朝书风影响。又,漆画题记是一种区别于碑版的类似于写经、简牍的墨迹。毕现了碑志因书丹后刀刻泯掉的转折毫芒笔意,彰显了书写的笔势。书风呈现的特征:八分雁尾带有隶意、点划骨气健劲。从中窥出汉胡文化交融下的北魏平城书风,正承袭汉代风韵、崇尚儒道典范的审美姿态。推测该书风亦或受南朝书风影响。
