World Trade Organization Director General Michael Moore emphasized on the previous day that the future of the global economy depends on developing countries. Developing countries need a safe and stable global trading system and a more open and rule-of-law economy. Moore made the above speech during the opening speech of the third WTO Ministerial Conference. He said that many developing countries have encountered difficulties in fulfilling certain obligations of WTO members and they need greater export markets. These issues are especially urgent for the youngest and weakest developing countries.
