前些时候,我曾应邀赴德国进行了为期三个月的专业考察,对德国戏剧的基本情况,诸如剧目组织、演出管理、联系观众的方式、新戏排练的过程、戏剧节的举办以及戏剧教育等方面,都有了一些或多或少、或深或浅的了解。然而在这期间印象最深、感受最多的,还是在剧场里看戏。我在德国(包括当时的西德和东德)总共看了八十多台戏,话剧、歌剧、音乐剧,大剧场、小剧场,“豪华戏剧”、“贫困戏剧”、“咖啡戏剧”、“舞厅戏剧”,古典作品、当代作品,现实主义的、非现实主义的……林林总总,形形色色,其中有一些还是由德意志剧院、柏林剧团、汉堡剧院等非常著名的剧院演出的。坐在那些或古老或现代、或豪华或简朴、但无一例外地弥漫着浓郁的艺术气氛的剧场里,我作为一个中国的戏剧工作者,心情是极
