Everyone has come to realize that digitization will last forever, as do paper books and Amazon. Times have changed, but tomorrow is not the end of the world, and everyone is ready. Each fall, apart from the golden deciduous streets and alleys and the silhouetted mountains in the Main River, the blossoming of Frauenkirchen is regarded as another spectacle of Europe. The “bookworm” of the world reunited with Frankfurt in the very last October, and despite the slight decline in the number of professional exhibitors (140,000 - 2% down from last year), the enthusiasm of the people is unprecedented. Heavy trading was heard frequently, and the bigwigs in the publishing industry also expressed optimistic attitudes toward the future. Perhaps the greatest significance this time of reincarnation on the Main River brings to the publishing industry is that more publishers, including the Frankfurt Book Fair itself, have clearly been no longer afraid
