《明星时代》杂志从面向市场到走进市场已10年有余,成功改版为男性时尚类期刊也有3个年头了。杂志能够在短期内成功转型,在市场上找准定位,确实有一些经验和教训值得总结。2001年,《明星时代》杂志的前身——《新疆艺术》杂志单靠财政拨款的日子已难以为继,而自治区财政厅要求编辑部增加造血功能的一纸批文,彻底打破了大家要继续躺在政策统包安榻上生存的幻想,《新疆艺术》(汉文)改刊、走市场化道路成为大势所趋。
