英德红壤地区大规模种茶始于1956年。其中面积最大,发展较快的是英红华侨茶场,现有茶园17000余亩,所产的红碎茶品质优良,远销国外,享有较高声誉;创最高产量记录的是红星茶场,该场第五大队有丰产茶园9.25亩,1975年以来持续亩产干茶超千斤,其中渗灌区产量最高,1977年亩产于茶达1410斤。为了充分利用红壤的生产潜力,大力发展茶叶生产,特对英德红壤茶园土壤的理化性质和高产茶园的培肥经验进行研究总结。 (一)研究方法本项研究地点选在建场时间久,土壤改良、种茶和培肥管理等方面具有代表性的英红
