随着处理器速度的不断提高,互联网络逐渐成为限制网络并行计算系统性能发挥的主要瓶颈.本文中所介绍的TH-GBNet是基于动态crossbar开关的可扩展高速互联网络.TH-GBNet系统以TH-Switch为基本开关单元,具有很强的扩展能力.其中的TH-Switch开关单元具有八个双向端口,单向的数据传输率能够达到1.056Gbps.本文主要介绍了TH-GBNet系统、TH-Switch开关单元以及网络接口卡的具体设计方案,及相应的协议软件设计.
As processor speeds continue to increase, the Internet has gradually become a major bottleneck in limiting the performance of networked parallel computing systems. The TH-GBNet described in this article is a scalable high-speed Internet based on a dynamic crossbar switch. TH-GBNet system with TH-Switch as the basic switch unit, with strong scalability. One of the TH-Switch switch unit has eight bidirectional ports, one-way data transfer rate can reach 1.056Gbps. This article mainly introduces TH-GBNet system, TH-Switch switch unit and network interface card’s concrete design plan, and the corresponding protocol software design.
