Through the analysis of high-speed urbanization and industrialized symbolic languages, we have achieved preliminary research results. From a methodological point of view: Symbolic analysis requires theoretical and background knowledge. It makes sense to understand the mega-metropolitan area as a whole landscape, which means that it is the result of a combination of social, cultural and natural factors within a region. With regard to the form of symbols, this article gives a clear idea of the islands and corridors and the transformation between them: in the initial stage of urbanization, the landscape is shaped like an island; in the second phase of urbanization, With the establishment of spatial flow, the landscape evolves into a corridor. With the further development of urbanization, the corridor may expand and form a large island. In the early stages of urbanization, industrial and urban settlements represented islands and corridors, while others were large natural and agricultural areas. As urbanization progressed, natural and agricultural areas were eroded and islands and corridors gradually emerged. The analysis of symbolic meaning brings out the issue of landscape integrity and relevance, but this may not be entirely negative. Because it implies a wealth of opportunities for flexible and exploitative development in the process of urbanization and industrialization. This article is not intended to discuss how this lack of integrity and relevance of the landscape should be planned, but it is clear that the complex relationship between landscape island morphology and corridor morphology, integrity and fission, orderliness and flexibility will greatly Increase the difficulty of urban planning.
