Recently, Chongqing in southwest China announced its education authorities would organize social practice activities for local college students. These activities include paid internships, living and work-ing with farmers, working in a factory and learning from soldiers. The program would ensure more than 700,000 students participate in no less than four months of social practice activities during their col-lege education.
