《女人·TAXI·女人》作为第四代导演王君正的代表作,在实现现代女性的人格独立方面做出了积极探索。然而,影片也不可避免地映射出了女性在实现人格独立过程中面临的瓶颈区即女性实现职业领域的独立往往比实现情感领域的独立要容易得多,同时情感领域独立性的停滞在无形之中消解着职业独立,使其面临随时崩塌的可能性;而历史原因与现实原因同时产生作用造成了这种瓶颈的出现。
