从世界各国的发展经验可以得知,交通系统的效率是构成一个城市人居环境的重要因素之一,尤其对城市活动产生的温室气体排放和能源消耗方面的影响深远。为了实现高效率的城市交通系统,同时鉴于城市交通在时间和空间上的多变性,必须制定出涵盖公共交通和私人出行各种模式的等级交通运行机制。采用市郊铁路、地铁等方式出行,并通过搭乘高服务水平交通工具(主要由有轨电车或公共汽车组成),实现出发地、目的地与火车站及地铁站之间的连接。
According to the experience of other countries in the world, the efficiency of transportation system is one of the most important factors that make up an urban living environment.
