Various technologies for optical signal processing have been developed to the point of providing high precision automatic tracking system usage. TVAC, a television area-related (a new technology for tracking of electro-optical objects), will be discussed in detail here. TVAC - consists of five major subsystems: image synthesizer, image processor, digital storage, correlation error processor, and decorrelation sensor. There are two kinds of image processors: one is horizontal and the other is vertical, both of which are used to generate the simulated image to represent the scene contrast in the useful area within the field of view.
