大多数抽水蓄能电站都具有同步调相运行的能力,应能进行调相至发电的在线快速转换,以保证系统的负荷要求。然而在快速转换时,机组将产生起始逆功率。当系统要求保持负荷稳定时,此逆功率是有害的。在小电网或孤立电网中,逆功率将产生有害的电网电压和频率下降。可利用静止变频器(SFC)及其相应的控制和辅助控制系统来消除逆功率。SFC在抽水蓄能电站进行快速负荷响应时,不会产生逆功率,并为电网提供短暂的瞬间功率。
Most pumped storage power plants have the ability to operate in phase and phase, and should be capable of fast on-line phase-to-power generation to ensure system load requirements. However, the unit will generate initial reverse power at fast transitions. This reverse power is detrimental when the system is required to keep the load steady. In small or isolated power grids, reverse power will produce harmful grid voltage and frequency drops. Reverse power can be eliminated with static frequency converters (SFCs) and their corresponding control and auxiliary control systems. SFC does not generate reverse power at fast load response of a pumped storage plant and provides a brief momentary power to the grid.
