Objective To explore the superiority of testicular volume ultrasound detection; to clarify the difference between simple obesity and normal children’s testicular development; and to analyze the possible influence of Kaup index on children’s testicular development. Methods①A total of 6 18 obese boys aged 7-14 years old with MVT were divided into 8 age groups according to their age. The same method was used to detect normal boys with corresponding ages As the control group, MVT measurement results were compared and evaluated; ② the other two groups were 12 years of age, the age difference within 6 months, the difference between the height group 5l 5l, MVT 1: 1 paired data comparison and Kaup index changes on the impact of MVT analysis. Results The results of MVT in obesity group and control group from 7 to 14 years of age were significantly different (P <0.01). There was still a significant difference (P <0.01) in MVT 1: 1 paired data between two groups of 12-year-old boys; Kaup index was 15-20 in the control group, and there was a significant correlation between weight and height growth and MVT development (P <0.01). However, the Kaup index of obesity group was> 20, there was no significant correlation between the above indexes (P> 0.05). Conclusion The results of MVT between two groups of 7-14-year-old children have extremely significant differences. The analysis found differences in the correlation between height and weight gain and testicular development in children due to differences in Kaup index between the two groups. Therefore, the development of testicles may be significantly affected in obese children.
