Objective: To compare and analyze the analgesic effect of continuous nerve block guided by ultrasound and neurostimulator after total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Methods Totally 80 TKA patients admitted to our hospital from August 2015 to October 2016 were divided into control group and study group according to the touch ball method, 40 cases in each group. The control group was given neurostimulator-guided puncture The catheter, the study group under the guidance of ultrasound catheterization, analgesic effect was observed and compared two groups. Results: The VAS scores of the study group at 2h, 4h, 8h, 12h and 24h after operation were significantly lower than those of the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (p <0.05). Conclusion: The application of ultrasound-guided continuous nerve block in total knee arthroplasty is superior to neurostimulator in the analgesic effect. The postoperative complication rate is low and the safety is high.
