大学英语课堂普遍存在学生学习积极性不强、参与度不高、自主学习能力较差等问题,本研究通过在大学英语课堂创建学习共同体,进行为期一年的教学对比实验,结合课堂观察、问卷调查、学生访谈,指出学习共同体这一“以学生为中心”的教学模式在激发学生学习兴趣、提高语言实践应用能力、培养学习自主能力、加强交际合作能力等方面的积极作用,同时也指出这一教学模式在实际课堂中存在的不足及挑战,以期待大学英语课堂教学取得更好的效果。
In the college English classroom, there are many problems such as poor enthusiasm for learning, low level of participation and poor ability of independent study. Through the establishment of a learning community in college English classroom, this study conducts one-year teaching comparative experiment, combining classroom observation, questionnaire , Interviews with students, pointed out that the learning community’s “student-centered” teaching mode plays an active role in stimulating students’ interest in learning, enhancing their practical ability in language practice, developing their ability to learn independently and strengthening their ability in communication and cooperation. At the same time, This teaching model in the actual classroom problems and challenges in order to expect college English classroom teaching to achieve better results.
