1969年电导盐度定义确立以后,电导测盐法迅速普遍地替代了氯度滴定法,成为日常最广泛的测定海水盐度的方法。氯度与盐度(或相对电导率)已成为两种独立的海洋参数,而国际标准海水为各国海洋工作者提供海水氯度滴定及盐度测定的标准。Park,K.(1964),Poisson,A.,Millero等人(1977)和Culkin,F.(1978)分别对国际标准海水的氯度盐度和电导盐度作了比测研究。
After the definition of conductance salinity was established in 1969, the rapid and widespread replacement of the chlorinity titration method by the conductivity-guided salt method became the most widely used method for determining the salinity of seawater. Chlorinity and salinity (or relative conductivity) have become two independent marine parameters, while international standard seawater provides marine workers with a measure of seawater chlorinity and salinity. Park, K. (1964), Poisson, A., Millero et al. (1977) and Culkin, F. (1978) measured the chloride and salinity of international standard seawater respectively.
