The author is fully discussing (1) the dilemma of computational strategy as a basis for functionalism and the advantages of full parallel distributed processing (PDP) computational strategies, and (2) a new neuroscience-based new basic representation of the brain and basic computational methods (3) the concepts and possibilities of the reduction of popular psychology to the low-level natural sciences, and examines and rejects the seven basic ideas of functionalism one by one, pointing out that in the past half century In the time of cognitive psychology and artificial intelligence research made the wrong direction.
