Preface The Spargoville gold deposit is located 55 km south of Kalgoorlic, a gold-mine province east of the Irgon block in the Western Australian Ocean, and is produced in a larger greenstone belt. Greenstone Belt is the early of this century to strengthen the gold exploration and exploitation of the concentrated area. However, the Spagovilie deposit was not discovered until 1934, probably due in part to the fine grain size of gold and the absence of any quartz veins or shearing systems that were commonly used to find gold. During the Second World War, due to the lack of labor at that time, the mine’s productive work was forced to close in 1942. During this period 818 grams of gold were produced from 107,088 tons of ore.
