毛国典先生,中国书法冢协会理事、江西省书法家协会主席。与毛国典先生初识时,他从河南调江西科技师范学院任教不久,当时其汉简书风在全国颇具影响,并在全国性的书法大展中频频获奖,有不少年轻书人紧随并学习其书风。那时起,我虽与国典先生从未谋过面,但其名声不绝于耳,在报纸杂志以及各类展览、比赛中经常都能看到其大名。在我的意识和想像中,国典先生应该是位白面书生,戴着眼镜、文绉绉的帅小伙子。然而初次相见,站在我眼前的却是一位身材魁梧,身高一米八零,虎背熊腰,说话耿直、豪爽,咋看就 Mr. Mao Guodian, director of China Calligraphy Mound Association, chairman of Jiangxi Calligraphers Association.
