“Snow on the Saddle Mountain” is a poem containing the ecologically-inspired ideas of the United States “Beat Pie” poet Gary Snyder. Although the length of the poem is short, but the content of literary forms and ideas are very rich, for the reader to understand Snyder’s thought and creation of great significance. This first ecologically verse realizes the bipolar interaction of meaning in the deconstruction and re-deconstruction of the text, while the human nature and the natural personification here epitomize the cultural appeal of various post-modernist cultures.
