外语听力教学的目的是帮助学生克服听力障碍,提高听解能力,以期达到以听促说、交流无碍的效果。笔者曾对授课的6个英语专业班级做过调查和有针对性的测试,结果表明:对于语言知识(语音、词汇、语法)的听解一般都没多大问题,但一涉及到文化知识,尤其是利用文化知识结合语言知识来理解复杂的听力材料,大多数学生反映,听完之后不知所云。其症结何在?其一,记不住所听的内容;其二,听不懂地道的英语。怎样给学生对症下药?本文从听力教学改革的角度出
