大约20年前,1993年的7月份,我初次拜访了黄土高原。当时我在西安留学,从西安到陕北的榆林,坐的是螺旋桨式飞机。满眼是一望无际的黄色大地,被称作梯田的阶梯田地,还有横穴式的窑洞住宅。曾经在纪录片《大黄河》里见过的场景展现在我的眼前。从榆林北上,经过毛乌素沙地中的东胜(现在的鄂尔多斯市)到黄河沿岸的包头,需要乘长途大巴奔驰12个小时。那里有耕地、草原,以及在沙漠中生息的人们。如今,我们看到的黄土高原景象,是黄土不断堆积、侵蚀的历史产物。改革开放以
About 20 years ago, in July 1993, I first visited the Loess Plateau. At that time I was studying in Xi’an, from Xi’an to Yulin in northern Shaanxi, sitting in a propeller plane.
