在1925年至1927年湖南工农运动大发展时期，唐生智允许中共党组织及国民党在他所管辖的范围内公开活动，为中共党组织在湖南的发展以及中共领导的湖南工农运动走向高潮，提供了有利的条件；唐生智的反帝反封建倾向和行为，为中国共产党在湖南领导工农运动起了巨大的推动作用；唐生智率军北伐，横扫反动军阀势力，使湖南民众迅速觉醒，从而加速了湖南工农运动走向高潮。
During the great development of the Hunan workers and peasants movement from 1925 to 1927, Tang Shengzhi permitted the CPC and KMT to hold public activities within his jurisdiction and provided favorable conditions for the development of CCP organizations in Hunan and the upsurge of the Hunan workers and peasants movement led by CPC. ; Tang Shengzhi’s anti-imperialist and anti-feudal tendencies and behaviors played a huge role in promoting the leadership of the Workers’ and Peasants Movement in Hunan; Tang Sheng-chih of the Northern Expedition, which swept through the reactionary warlords and the rapid awakening of the Hunan people, accelerated the movement of workers and peasants in Hunan To climax.
