The pay zone is the Roseray sand zone (main pay zone) and the Success sand zone, with no gas cap. The physical properties of the reservoir vary greatly, especially in the Roseray sand layer that produces more oil. Battrum reservoir was discovered in 1955 and began to spray oil since August 1963. In 1966, waterflooding was carried out and the initial period of waterflood was 32 × 104m2
