词汇是语言学习者发展听、说、读、写四项技能的基本单位。因此,教材中词汇的编排对学生掌握英语词汇有着重要的影响。本文以外研社高中《英语》(新标准)(以下简称NSE)教材必修一的词汇为研究对象,从教材词汇量、词汇呈现顺序及词汇练习设计等特征进行分析,评估该英语教材中词汇的总体特征,以期为教师进行词汇教学提供一点建议。
Vocabulary is the basic unit for developing language learners’ four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Therefore, the arrangement of vocabulary in the textbook has an important influence on students’ mastery of English vocabulary. In this paper, we study the vocabulary of Compulsory English for New English (new standard) (NSE) textbook for senior high school of Yanan Social Research Institute from the perspectives of the vocabulary of the textbook, the sequence of vocabulary presentation and the practice of vocabulary design to evaluate the overall vocabulary of the English textbook Characteristics, in order to provide some advice for teachers in vocabulary teaching.
