天然气水合物作为21世纪的重要能源已受到广泛认可和高度关注。与此同时,作为一个重要的气候致变因素,在地质历史时期中天然气水合物在自然条件下的突然分解释放甲烷气体可能造成全球气候变暖、地质灾害和生物灭绝等负面影响仍不容忽视。本文通过分析天然气水合物的稳定性与分解释放甲烷气体、天然气水合物对气候的反馈机制以及天然气水合物的分解在地质历史时期中对全球气候变化的可能影响,如新元古代“雪球”地球的终结、古新世—始新世极热事件和第四纪冰期后气候快速变暖等,对天然气水合物在全球气候变化过程中的作用进行了探讨。
Gas hydrate has been widely recognized and highly regarded as an important energy source in the 21st century. At the same time, as an important climate change factor, the sudden decomposition of natural gas hydrate under natural conditions during the geologic history can release global methane warming, and the negative impacts of geological disasters and extinction should not be neglected. In this paper, by analyzing the stability and decomposition of natural gas hydrate release methane gas, the feedback mechanism of gas hydrate on climate and the possible impact of gas hydrate decomposition on global climate change in geologic history, such as Neoproterozoic snowball "The end of the Earth, the Paleocene - Eocene extreme events and rapid climate warming after the Quaternary Glaciation, discussed the role of gas hydrate in the process of global climate change.
