Taking the Yingxiu-Caoping section of the Du-Wen highway as the research area, 15 typical debris flow ditches along the highway were selected for field investigation, remote sensing monitoring, experimental study and calculation analysis. Some empirical formula for calculating debris flow parameters were used in combination with large-scale digital terrain model And high-precision remote sensing data, an assessment model for the thickness of stubble, the width of stubble and the strength of stubborn land for embankment was established. The evaluation of the stubble strength of debris flow was carried out and applied to the rehabilitation and disaster prevention of the Du-Wen highway. The results show that there are 8, 1, 5 and 1 debris flow ditches in the study area with high, high, medium and average soil burial intensity, accounting for 53.3%, 6.7%, 33.3% and 6.7% The overall thickness of the eight debris flows may reach 6-20 m, and the width of the buried mud may reach 111- 421 m. It has extremely high rates of erosion and sedimentation and scouring and silting. The comparison of the calculated and measured values of the thickness and width of the debris flow in Hongchungou Gully shows that the established assessment model has high accuracy and certain practicality. Some parameters in the assessment model are derived from the empirical formula, and it is necessary to further improve the debris flow Field monitoring and experimental research, obtained through actual measurement or experimental analysis, and amended the relevant empirical formula to meet the post-earthquake debris flow assessment needs.
